Steelworks - Fabrication & Design
Fabrication is the process used to manufacture steelwork components that will, when assembled and joined, form a complete frame. At Pacific Construction, we have partnerships with steelwork fabrication factories that have state of the art computer aided design and detailing (CAD) capabilities which are linked directly to factory floor computers. This ensures the highest standards of production, as well as the speed and accuracy of steel erection on site. The manufacturers we use have dedicated truss beds for complex nodal trusses, Voortman CNC saw and drill lines, provide in-house blasting and painting, and are CE and FPC approved.
We manage and deliver all pre-construction, fabrication, paint and erection operations and provide a comprehensive service from initial concept and design to project planning, costing, fabrication, supply, and erection. We can design, fabricate and install a wide range of structural steelwork for your building projects.

Why Choose Us?
As we specialise in consultancy we can help improve your tendering success and optimise structural performance. Our experience and track record through the years provides our clients with a depth of resource and assurance that is leading the market today.
We work with qualified structural designers to provide accurate costings for most structural design schemes, and use our experience to provide a true estimate that take potential risks into account, therefore avoiding any unforeseen costs at the end of a contract. We are able to provide full sum prices, bills of quantity, or simply a budget price that will assist in the accurate budgeting of potential developments.
Effective and open communication during the life of a contract ensures that risks and issues are identified and accounted for and that expectations are managed. As such, upon receipt of an order, we appoint a senior contract manager to look after the job: a single point of contact for the contract duration of the project. This approach ensures that we catch all the amendments to the contract, manage any problems that may arise, and more importantly keep you advised of any programme and/or cost adjustments as the work progresses.
